Today I attended the trip at Lincs FM. It was strange to see how drastic a difference there is between a commercial radio station and BBC. Lincs FM has an in house news team that travels around their patch getting reports. I didn’t realise that this much went into the news before this. Here we are with Kathy Green, head of the news team at Lincs FM.

Unlike BBC, Lincs FM use the latest version of Myriad and have 3 stations broadcasting from their base in Lincoln. It was very interesting to see that they were all set up so that each studio can see into each other.

Here we are in the Lincs FM studio with presenter Eddie Shaw. Overall I had a great time and it was more experience in the working world of radio that I have seen and now know what to expect.
