This week we have been introduced to what we will be working on in the second year of radio. I am especially looking forward to the radio drama section of the course. Each week 2 groups will go live on Siren FM for an hour show each, this is  bit nerve-wrecking as we have to create longer shows than we did last year and with less time to prepare.

In the seminar this week we learnt about the BBC and the role they take in Radio, as well as some of the community radio stations in the area such as Lincs FM and Siren FM.

I have checked the online show rota and have found that I am taking the role of content on in the first ever show from this years second year students on ION Media on Siren FM. Overall I’m excited to start the course!
